Obituary for Donna J Balash

Donna J. Balash, 85, of Pleasant Gap, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, May 9, 2021. Born on August 16, 1935, in Camp Hill, PA, she was the daughter of the late Hamilton and Helen Nuss. In 1989, she married Robert A. Balash “Yogi” who survives at home.

Donna and Yogi traveled the world. She visited every country except Australia. She made a lot of friends in the travel industry and loved every minute of it.

Donna enjoyed playing tennis, bowling, cards and especially going to yard sales where she found many treasures. She loved to take trips to New York City to attend Broadway Shows. She met Yogi at a dance, where he surprised her with his ability to dance her off her feet, while dancing the Polka and the Jitterbug.

The best thing that can be said about Donna is that she lived life to the fullest and made sure everyone around her was doing the same.
