Condolence: Becky and family:
Chris will be remembered for his warm smile, infectious laugh and servant's heart. He was always willing to go out of his way to help others. I've had humorous conversations with Chris as well as spiritual ones. He was truly concerned for the next generation(s). Heaven's gain is our loss. I've been blessed to know him.
Condolence: When I think of Chris, I think of his warm, jovial smile and laugh. He loved life, his Savior and his family with all his heart. The first time I met Chris, he and his wife were students in a TCE-1 course being held in the State College area. I was excited when I knew God had answered Don Colburn's prayer for a new director for CEF.
Chris will be missed but not forgotten. He has left a legacy of love and service.
May those who knew and loved Chris find their peace and comfort in our God--the God of peace and comfort.
Condolence: The Chris I knew was a faithful, fun-filled, caring, follower of Jesus Christ. He believed and adored God and worked to tell others (especially kids) so they could know Him too. He shared the good news that Jesus, having paid for my sin and yours, offers life with God to all who trust Christ to rescue them from their sin.
He had people skills out the ears and enjoyed joking with everybody. His sons follow in his steps and thereby show that he was genuine.
When I invited him to replace me as local director of CEF, he was stunned. God had been talking to him about serving in youth ministry. He soon accepted and has led better than I ever did.
